Paolo Pomodoro lives and works in Milan. He has always used photography as a way of describing and interpreting reality, producing his own version of the world around him. The Polaroid becomes an essential tool, able to create an instant vision. The process of abstraction allows him to isolate distinctive signs and to remove anything that interferes with those objects and sensations that transmit meaning. His work has been influenced by Achille Abramo Saporiti (ex managing director of Polaroid Italia), Lanfranco Colombo and Roberta Valtorta who have guided and stimulated his creative career.
